This little girl is very near and dear to my heart! Her mother and I met online when we were both pregnant and going through similar circumstances. We supported each other throughout our pregnancies and to our amazement, ending up having our babies on the very same day! What a blessing! However, at Alaina's 6 month checkup, the doctor discovered a heart murmur. Alaina has undergone several surgeries to correct the problem and she is such a strong little girl, I know she will be just fine. Please keep her in your prayers though!
This picture was taken by her family on a camping trip. Alaina was sleeping so peacefully, and I was inspired to edit the picture to focus more on her.
The pictures above were taken at my very own wedding by a fantastic photographer by the name of Mary Kathryn Budreck. Not that her pictures needed editing, but I wanted to add some artistic effects to some photos. The top picture I turned black and white and left the leaves colored and actually added a few more leaves to balance it out (a little of my OCD shining through). I had this composition in my head before my wedding and she did a wonderful job catching what I had in mind to produce this picture.
The bottom picture is special to me. It is a picture of my mother, looking at her wedding ring on my wedding day. Again, Mary Kathryn caught this moment that is priceless. I wanted to draw attention to my mother so I blurred out the background a bit and changed it to black and while, only leaving the window and my mother in color.
This is a picture I found online. (I don't know who took it but if I did, you better believe I'd give the person credit) I actually edited this picture using a simple online photo editor and really liked the results.
This is a picture of my little boy and his three adorable cousins. As you can see the original picture is a little dark and there is not much detail. To enhance the picture I cropped it, adjusted the colors a bit and used an action to create a sort of color pop and nostalgic feel. Look at that smile!
Old Photographs are treasures. If they are torn, faded, have water damage or just need a sprucing up, it can be done! Please contact me to save your memories.
The above picture is of my Great Grandmother and it was an honor to be able to restore this memory for my family! I wanted to keep the original coloring and vintage feel, so I only repaired the tear and fixed the crooked cut of the photograph.
