I mean I have to get a little bit of a break, because in the last two years we bought a house, moved, unpacked, decorated that house, had a baby and surgeries and before you know it, life gets away from you and you have no idea where the time went. That was my excuse.
But I finally decided that excuses weren't enough when our anniversary came and went again and I only had 4 pages done. Since I've been sick and sitting idly is not something I ever do anymore, I decided to work on this scrapbook. Some of the pages are a little "overdone". I was basically just ripping stickers off of the vinyl backing and plopping them blindly on the page. I had it completed in two days, about 3 hours a day. All of our memories preserved so neatly in a 12 x 12 book.
I have decided this will be my final scrapbook. I have now completed four books and I think that is a great number to stop at. I have decided I don't like the art of scrapbooking. I am a creative person by nature, and I like projects that entail cutting, gluing and decorating. But I am also a person that likes to see the final product and not have it drag on for months upon months, or in my case, years upon years. I can understand how some people find scrap booking relaxing. I have learned (after four attempts) that I am not one of those people!
