He was not "like a brother" to me, as far as I'm concerned he WAS my brother. He did all the typical "brother" things like teasing and "beating me up" when I was younger, and being a shoulder to lean on during my teenage years, and being an example as a parent in my adult years. He was an amazing person. I've known him my whole life and I've NEVER known anyone like him. He was one of a kind.
I'm still in complete denial about all of this which is the only way I've been able to deal with it. I can talk about it but it's like I'm telling the story of someone else.
Anyways, I edited some pictures of Steven for the benefit and I wanted to share them on here in hopes of if you are reading this you will come to the benefit or share a donation for my brother's family by contacting me. Please see the benefit information below and the before and after pictures of my brother and his family. Thank you!

Steve was all of 39 years old and had his whole life to live and watch his children grow. Steve was a man known for his hard work and great humor and touched the lives of everyone he was introduced to. As friends and family come together we can help!
