Moving on the the square footage of the house...it is less than 1000 square feet, so basically my mother, father, my husband and son, oh and yes the dog, were on top of each other anywhere we went in the house. There was not much escaping, and poor Brin is so little I think he may have been run over a few times during the duration of our stay.
Also, in that close proximity, there is no way of escaping a crying baby at 4 in the morning. There were several nights of swapping bedrooms and I think everyone took turns on the couch throughout the four days. Stiff necks for everybody!
All in all, my parents were beyond kind to let us bunk out with them. As small as it is, it is still home to me. I love the smells and the comfort of being somewhere where I've spent so much time and I am beyond grateful that my son can have the same experiences I had there.
What a week! I think we are all still recovering from it. While I was there I took a couple of photos that I found to be interesting and I wanted to share. Thanks for reading!
